The Golden Care Teak Protector do last longer than teak oils. Not as long as they claim (at least not here in Australia, it’s probably tested in a lot less harsh climate) but a lot longer than other products. In our experience the Golden Care Teak protector lasts 8-12 months fully exposed and the shield 3 – 6 months. If the furniture is under cover it can last a lot longer than that.
