It’s Eco-safe and reasonably easy to use, it does require some serious scrubbing and elbow grease.
How to Clean Teak with Golden Care Teak Cleaner
Place the pieces you want to clean in the shade
Hose the teak down for five minutes
Pour the undiluted Teak cleaner into a tray
Dip your soft bristle brush or cleaning pad and run it up and down the boards.
Scrub it in along the timber grain
Let the product be on the timber for 10 minutes, scrub it again
Rinse the Teak for 5 minutes until the water runs clear.
There are plenty of product out there that requires less scrubbing but they typically contains poison and can discolor the grass, Golden care Teak cleaner doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals and DOES NOT burn the grass.

Is it better than warm soapy water?
Most definitely because it will also brighten the timber. Warm soapy water is great but Golden Care Teak cleaner is better.
What are common mistakes when using it?
A classic mistake is to not rinse it well enough after cleaning, that will lead to a white residue left on the timber.
You can also end up with this problem if you leave the cleaner on for too long.
If that happens to you, just bring out the sander and go over the teak with 120-240 grit sandpaper. It’s a quick exercise that will also fix any rough areas.
How often should I clean teak?
We recommend that you clean your Teak every 3-6 months.
A couple of things to keep in mind when cleaning Teak:
Don’t use stiff brushes or anything that can scratch the teak
The more diligent you are the less sanding you will have to employ
Have your favorite drink at hand to make it bearable
Keep the surrounding areas wet, should you splash cleaner and dirt around.
