Golden Care Hardwood Protector Red Brown

Golden Care has welcomed a new family member, Golden Care Hardwood Protector Red Brown. Simply because not everyone want’s Honey Brown. We do Golden Cares full range of products, Coffee Brown, White Wash, Instant Grey etc. 

We recently had the pleasure to restore this outdoor furniture lounge.

On this Job we applied two thin layers to not go too red. Some pieces suits in a deep dark red and some don’t. Naturally this is 100% in the eye of the beholder.

Colour expectancy

The Golden care red brown has a nice colour when applied. The picture on the bottle is a bit misleading in our opinion. In terms of colour expectancy, the colour comes out a lot nicer than is shown in the picture. Most companies does the opposite, and that’s really annoying so “good on ya” Golden Care.

As always if you are unsure about the colour the right thing to do is to start with an inconspicuous area. There after assess the colour after two dry coats. Finally, this product is normally used for bangkirai, meranti, acacia or red balau, but works well on Teak as well.
